Incredible Streak : Tobishima 飛島 sets a consecutive Foreign Winning RECORD while Ellipsiz gains 12% more on paper ! {13th Feb '25}

    S'pore's Ellipsiz makes the heart swell with pride by tacking on another 3c, or 60% of the upcoming bumper dividend, yet it is long-losing Tobishima 飛島 in Japan that  nails the fresh record of 1,127 in a row with a half-sale at ¥1,704 due to its upcoming results disclosure & the potential plunge from a worse than anticipated number...turns out it wasn't bad at all, with a 43% rise in 3Q profit & the price popped as high as ¥1,725 before closing just ¥1 higher than my partial disposal quotation.

   One of the most trying Japanese stocks, up there with completely-exited Nomura , this construction equity was unfortunately bought at over ¥2,000 in September '18 when both the numbers & chart formation looked promising. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an entry near the very peak as it continued to slide after a further purchase in the ¥1,800 range in time for a stock consolidation to not leave me with odd lots less than a hundred . The dividends were good however [ almost  ¥38,000 since 2019 for minimal stakes] & I also fortunately doubled my stake at ¥1,073 & so doubled my dividend income in 2023 & 2024, leaving my average cost just a touch under ¥1,600. That turned out to be as prescient an entry as the purchase of Alibaba in June 2024  that enabled a profitable paring of the latter in both Sep '24 & two days ago.

   I am determined to hold the balance for the upcoming ¥90 dividend AND a price of at least  ¥2,200 which will vindicate my original purchase [ a plausible proposition since its book value is over 15% higher] ! 

   A record heretofore unprecedented four consecutive foreign wins  is thus attained after Rohm , Alibaba & Shinto from Monday till Wednesday arranged from back to front!!!

   First ever " sogo shosha'''' entry Sumitomo Corp does me proud with a   ¥7,900 increase a day after purchase subsequent to a dip to a ¥3,200 deficit on paper at its lowest. Seventy-eight 🎌 with 5 months left to my 8th Anniversary in 🗾 !!!
