The 50k threshold beckons....

Today, as a cheque from a pupil cleared, my savings + fixed deposit balance totals about $ 39 002 , while my current account contains a smaller sum of $ 10 872.

This makes the total just over $100 short of the big $50 000 mark, the attainment of which will be a matter of pride for me.
