PeterLabs goes ballistic in a most unexpected fashion, its stock price touching an all-time peak 30 ticks above its previous 2019 zenith! Unfortunately, I only have a couple of hundred shares left to dispose of! Thusly, the coveted 12th Century mark is attained on the company's ninth paring!!

The 89th scorer of '24 which bagged continuous day #1,024 eight months prior, Bukit Sembawang in the little red dot today secures successive day #1,195 as it's sold down close to a 19-month high, setting a fresh running record of 1,251 points in the process!!!

This obscure company had been forgotten since a re-purchase for almost half the price of the last exit in Mar '21 at an equivalent of just under 97c!  Gopeng was the 160th link jointly with Nippon Television in Tokyo then & today takes charge of the 1,193rd link solo!

  The stock soars to its highest quotation since Apr 8th 2019 by rising a further 6% today, effectively doubling in under 2 months! The highest ever tally is thus renewed to a mind-boggling 1,245 points!!

  Next logical target is its all-time high of 40c back in 2017! Another miracle: From nearly running out of paper profits to take last month to accidental discovery of additional gainers either forgotten about , recently re-discovered or recently re-purchased & risen : Gopeng , NSOP, CelcomDIGI, Affin Bank , Jasa Kita , PeterLabs , Pintaras Jaya , S'pore's Bukit Sembawang , Japan's Toyota Motor & JCBNext !

The multi-level marketer which sells costume jewelry finally sticks a maiden win after many averaging-down purchases that haven't lowered my cost sufficiently to even come close to a capital gain, though it has paid over $2,000 in dividends since the unfortunate initial entry in 2014. Yesterday's entry was a mistake as I assumed that the 1c dividend was still cum- but had actually gone ex- on the 13th. Today, I tried my luck queueing to sell at $1.13 & got the order filled at 9:26:08am though two lucky goats got fills half a minute later at $1.14! Thus the combined tally reaches 1,240 points & additionally, I have the satisfaction of watching yesterday's purchase of SingPost, which is anticipated to announce a big dividend tomorrow, rise 2 ticks or 1.6%. My estimated cost is now down a touch to below 71 cents. 

Miraculous Streak : Jasa Kita contributes TWELVE times to my marathon whose record is renewed at 1,188 days strung together! {13th May 25}

 

This is after this cherished stock sustained the 1,185th & the 1,180th links in the incredible streak after contributing sporadically in 2014 & 2015 prior to subsequent sales in 2021-2022! Toyota in Japan rose +3.5% today but I held back on taking profit on a long position that has Trump the Hatter to thank for it!

  With stockmarkets on either side of the causeway shuttered for Vesak Day, Hong Kong's Chinese Estates 華 人 置 業 集 團 comes through with a partial sale to snatch the half-century honours away from mega-cap Toyotaトヨタ, which extends its post-declining results recovery to stand at +13.6% after 5 weeks & looks poised to break the ¥2,800 mark as trade foes the US & China agree to 90-day mutual suspensions of tariffs. The China-involved property company thus joins Johnson Electric to double the HK tally of 2024!

      The sale today was particularly magical as the pared amount was just high enough to cover commissions by less than $1, at a price that is turning out to be the morning's high [ 89c ]. The price nearly 2 hours past the open is now nearly 4% lower than my exit, unsurprising due to a common Friday pattern of weakness after yesterday's jump on high volume. Thus is forged the 723rd successive record in my 30+ year financial freedom marathon!!!

Also, national car company parent DRB-Hicom brings 2025's tally to within one stock of the half-century mark!

  The 194-year-old Tokyo-listed micro-cap speculative memorably earned +144.5% [bought  ¥822, sold at the 7-year apex of  ¥2,010] during a 3-week ramp in Aug '23 & delivered twice again within 15 months subsequent to that thrilling event [re-bought  ¥1,116,re-sold  ¥1,747; re-bought  ¥1,201, re-sold  ¥1,617, at a slight discount of  ¥3 to the buyout offer ], before being taken off the market after 63 years of fantastic rocketing & crashing prices.

  To date, it ranks second in the🎌 rankings, by just a few thousand  ¥ behind top-ranked fellow takeover target Sekonic セコニック.
