Record Marathon : A Better Month [1 Nov till 31 Nov 2022]
Hap Seng Consolidated, bought for the first time ever in October for $5.84, was partially sold at $6.42 to open November's contribution to the marathon, followed by the sale of my last shares in Seven-Eleven M'sia bought at the end of '16 for $2.36 on the 2nd, on to an improbable 7th contribution from #53 KLK on the 3rd & thence to an 18th contribution from #26 PMCorp:
The baton was then handed over in Tokyo to Ichikoh Industries on Monday 7th Nov: the 126th scalp attaining 562 days in a row, exactly a hundred days beyond the old '17-'18 high before a rare duo of CWG & Advance Synergy provided the continuation on the 8th, the latter due to speculation that longtime political outcast Anwar Ibrahim would become the new leader in the General Elections. It continued to extend the streak with another sale at up to 14c on the 9th, then rebounding back to #127 CWG on the 10th & on to a premature but profitable partial escape from new #129 Karex to reach 566 consecutive days:
Friday the 18th was declared a holiday & so the streak took a raincheck, as was Monday the 28th after the General Election concluded after some contention & indecisive results:
