Miracle Streak : #23 KHInd goes ballistic intraday & I miss the $1.88 high, but it delivers 2 days straight, joining the hat3rick club! {24th Jul '26}

 

   A bit of disappointment accompanies the sealing up of 313 weeks in the ongoing marathon [ 1,493 consecutive days ] as yesterday's scorer KHind garners a hat3rick to join recent double scorer New Hoong Fatt in that club, but far overshoots my wildest expectations by hitting a $1.88 intraday pinnacle. Nonetheless, the net gain exceeds the dividend forgone from this sale, while total income from these 3 rounds miss matching the maximum dividend from the upped stake by less than $5 while the consolation dividend of $26.30 will soothe my ego over the misjudgement.  

    This week, I am more grateful than I have been in a while, in no small part due to this week's big bet on Premium client alert Panasonic [M] @ $5,6175 which briefly went into paper losses as it tumbled to $5.48 before strongly rising to close the week at $5.99, thus reversing the brief red ink into a $246.8 paper gain after commissions. A Basic client alert from last week, Macau gaming bigwig Sands China, also unexpectedly rose 2 days in a row after reporting a 24% drop in quarterly net profit & stands 5% higher than my maiden entry on 29th June. After commissions, its paper gain stands at HK$334 or about $173 at current exchange rates.In 🎌, Kosé retreated hardly at all as the Nikkei tumbled over 1,800 points while, encouragingly, the other 11 paper gainers net of commissions also stayed in the black, especially Seven & i , which bucked the trend by rising over 3% & stood almost 17% above my well-timed entry recently. Exited stocks Kao & Kuroda Precision settled the week lower by 1.4% & 13.6% compared to my June exits while Koito Manufacturing ended 6.7% below my Feb 9th disposal price after paying me 4 dividends in the interim. Strawberry 🍓 company Hob ended down 7% on delisting fears & thus closed a whopping  ¥114,300  cheaper than the disposal price for just my hundred share punt last year that netted 1,275 days in a row for the eighth wonder of the world streak on top of about $645 equivalent in profit & $94 in dividends.
