That is 32.5 hours more than the whole of last year.

But business has slowed down somewhat substantially.

My bank balances come within striking distance of $60 000

59 877.07 is the exact figure.

But with the cash I have on hand, the total has exceeded 60 000.

Including foreign currencies, the total is almost $145 000.

678.5 hours recorded as of Tuesday, with zero hours today...

...but a possible bonanza from the stockmarket as the stock which I have allocated 60% of my trust funds to soared 18.2% today!


Also, I deposited $1 200 into my savings account, with a check for $ 625 clearing by tomorrow, bringing the amounts in both accounts to within two hundred dollars of $59 000.


Yippee!

666.5 hours recorded in 2010...but I say goodbye & good luck to 2 tutees as their last paper looms on Monday.

I have taught each of them since last year, 58 and 86 lessons respectively. It's slightly saddening as the truth of the impending slowdown after the last IGCSE paper concludes the entire exam on Monday, finally sinks in.

Today, another pupil who has come for 64 lessons thus far, comes for his 65th before taking a well-deserved break after the examination.

On Sunday, another farewell has to be bid to yet another IGCSE pupil, whose final lesson will be her 72nd since joining me on June 3rd last year.


Being still 41.5 hours short of my 2009 total, this slowdown will lengthen the time I need to reach the 2009 total of 702.

The first pupil reached 100 lessons(200 hours) yesterday...

He has been with me from March '09 and on the 3rd of June, almost 15 months later, I have delivered the 100th lesson to him.

The total number of hours I have taught in 2010 now stands at 660.5, leaving me 41.5 hours short of 2009's total of 702.

These add up to 1362.5 since I started tutoring in 2009.
